This was a card I made for my Husband for his birthday. This technique is one that requires you to put it aside and leave for several hours (8 at the minimum), but I think it was worth it.
The technique was discovered by accident by a demonstrator in Australia. She had been using the shaving cream technique for a class and forgotten to clean it up afterwards. When she went back to her craft room she discovered it had gone all sparkly. Deciding to put a piece of cardstock in it to see what happened, she discovered this cool galaxy effect.
I did use a few retired star sequins but they were the absolute perfect thing I needed when I got a bit stuck as to how to finish the card off. And they were the perfect colour too.
Supplies
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Silver Foil
Stamps: Picture Perfect Birthday
Ink: Island Indigo
Other: Sequins (retired), Reinkers - Island Indigo & Pool Party, Shaving Cream
