Star of Light Christmas

Yesterday I taught a group of seniors at Senior Moments in Red Beach.  They each made this Christmas card

They all did really well making their cards and they were impressed by the Big Shot - how it could emboss the falling snow onto the cardstock, and then how the same 'machine' as they called it, could be used to cut their star.  One dear lady was 95 and she participated just as much as anyone else.

The design of the card started from this one on Pinterest and went from there. I changed the base to Smoky Slate to match my silver snowflake and I used the Softly Falling embossing folder.

Next week the other group are making covered Christmas notepads.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Paper: Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper, Silver Glimmer Paper
Stamps: Seasonal Bells, Christmas Happiness (sentiment inside)
Dies: Bunch of Banners, Starlight Thinlits Dies
Other: Softly Falling Embossing folder
