Rockin' Robin

Well maybe its not quite a robin but its a pretty cute little bird. And it could be a robin - it just depends how you choose to colour him/her.

I've just got this Best Birds bundle and whilst I haven't played with it much yet, I think its going to be a firm favourite.

Here are a couple of cards I made to go with some orders from my customers.

This comes as bundle which means when you order both the stamp set and the matching dies you save 10%.  I can tell you, its sooo easy to cut out these lovely birds when you have the dies - no fussy cutting around their delicate feet!

Another reason you'll want these dies - as well as the framelit style dies to cut out the outline of the birds, you also receive the more detail thinlit style of die in the set which cuts out detailed birds.  In total you receive 5 birds, 3 flowers and the branch for the bird to sit on.

You have two more days left to get your hands on an extra $60 worth of Stampin' Rewards.  Spend $550 on product and you'll get $60 more to spend on free goodies - that's a minimum of $126 FREE.  Why not team up your friends and see if you can earn some free goodies together.

Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White
Stamps: Best Birds, Thoughtful Banners
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive
Dies: Birds & Blooms Thinlits dies,
Other: Duet Banners punch, Seaside Embossing Folder.

Happy 1st Birthday

Yesterday we went to a first birthday party for a little boy who is pretty special.  His Mum and I have been friends since we were young children ourselves.

As soon as I saw the Foxy Friends set I knew I had to use that to make his card.  My ideas came from a range of people who'd used this cute little guy and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I was also asked to make some food label cards for the party.  My friend gave me a list of the foods she wanted cards for and some ideas she'd seen and left me to it.  Here's what I came up with...

I'm part of a fabulous (Stampin' Up!) team and when I got stuck they came to my rescue. I put up some pictures of the ones I'd already made and they gave me ideas for the last one that I was stuck on.   Its so great to have the support and friendship these lovely ladies provide.

And in case you're wondering what some of these strange sounding foods turned out to be...

Please see below for the list of supplies I used to make the card.  Feel free to leave any comments, I enjoy reading them.

Supplies for card:
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Whisper White, Calypso Coral
Stamps: Foxy Friends, Number of Years, Balloon Builders, Back to Basics Alphabet (for #1)
Ink: Soft Sky, Old Olive, Tip Top Taupe, Calypso Coral, Memento Tuxedo Black
Other: Woodland Embossing folder, Fox builder punch, balloon bouquet punch, sponge

Designer Tin of Cards

Don't you just love this cute little tin of cards?

Its a super fun way to make a set of cards to give to friends and family.  There are several ways you can do this:

  1. Grab some friends and share the kit...

Grab 3 friends and book a date.  Invite me along to bring all the supplies and you can all take one of each card home with you.  Between four friends this kit will each cost you just over $16.  For 4 cards that's way cheaper than anything you'll buy in the store and way nicer too.

You'll have to draw straws to see who gets the tin though!
  2. Because you couldn't decide who got that fabulous tin...

I don't blame you - option two is to buy the kit yourself and put it together.  You get to keep the tin and you make 16 fabulous cards.  If you purchase the stamp set, the inks and
some adhesives you're well on your way to earning Stampin' Rewards to spend on more fabulous product.
  3. Host a Designer Tin of Cards workshop

Grab some friends and get them stamping.  Two friends each with a kit and the supplies between you will see you reach the minimum for Stampin' Rewards.  You'd get a minimum of $30 to spend on anything you like from the Stampin' Up! catalogue.

If you're feeling really adventurous and you can find seven friends the rewards are amazing!  Seven kits plus one set of supplies will give you Stampin' Rewards of $69.74 plus with the Stampin' Up! promotion this month you'd earn an extra $60.  That means

7 friends/7 kits = $129.74 in free Stampin' Up! product for you.
You can even take that one step further if you like.  Put your $129.74 towards your starter kit and join my team.  You'll get your starter kit for $59.26.  Plus Stampin' Up! have another promotion this month that if you join our team you can choose 2 free stamp sets as well (that's an added value of up to the value of $214 depending on what you choose)

Therefore you can spend just $59.26 (after the purchase of your kit and share of supplies) and earn up to $499 worth of product by stamping with your friends and joining my team this month.

What have you got to loose?  Show your friends the video of this awesome kit and they'll fall in love with it too.  Then you can have a fun night putting it all together.

You'll find the Designer Tin of cards on page 160 of the Stampin' Up! catalogue.  To view the catalogue online click here.

Please ask me more about how you can earn free product this month.

New Stampin' Up! Catalogue out today!

Today is the first day of the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  We are so excited as this is a fabulous catalogue and the new colours are brilliant.

To view the new catalogue online click here.  If you'd like a copy, please let me know and I'll get one to you.

To share with you some of the brand new product, here's a card I sent to a lovely lady on my team Paula Reid.  She even shares her birthday with her husband the same day.  I have used a new mini embossing folder for this one called Floral Affection which is part of a new suite called the Affectionately Yours Suite, together with a fabulous new stamp set called Mixed Borders

Do you see how the border even has a gap the perfect size for the sentiment - how cool is that?

Here is the card by itself...

and its always nice to decorate the envelope as well so

and then I put a little piece of the flower border across one corner on the inside.

Happy Birthday to Paula and Phil.  I hope they had a wonderful birthday.
I love to hear your comments so please let me know what you think.
