Retiring List

We are making way for a brand new catalogue which will be out on the 1st June.  That means some of our favourites sadly need to go.  The good part of that is we'll soon have new favourites, this catalogue is awesome as I saw on the weekend at our OnStage Event for demonstrators.

Also, these retiring products are available at up to 50% off whilst stocks last and they never last long so be in quick - some things are sold out already.  The best way to see the list is via my Online Store (click link).  You can also make your purchases directly from there if you wish to (this will have the most up to date details on stock availability and photos of the products) or contact me and I can order for you.

If you're having trouble with the Online Store for any reason, here is a PDF list (no photos).  If there is a X in the far right column, then that item has sold out.

Birthday cards continued

I posted a picture of my daughter's birthday card here earlier in the week.  Now its time to share with you two of the other handmade birthday cards she received.

She actually received three handmade cards.  One was from a friend at school who spent his Saturday making it for her and then on Sunday (her birthday) asked his Mum to drive him to our house so he could give it to her.  So sweet.

Anyway, back to the cards I have photos of.  The first was made by her Nana.  I love the way she has used lots of circles to create a lollipop.

Next, this one was from Gran and Grandad in Napier.  I love the tiny little buttons decorating these oh so cute pair of jeans.

All in all, she is very lucky to have so many people to make her wonderful handmade cards.  Handmade is always awesome.

Happy Anniversary

Today is my parent's 41st Wedding Anniversary.  Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad.

I have stamped the rose and coloured it with my real red marker inspired by this card.  For added sparkle I have used the co-ordinating die with Red Glimmer paper to layer over the top.

Unfortunately the photo doesn't show how it much sparkles and how pretty it looks.  Something else you may not have noticed, is I've embossed the black background with the stripes embossing folder for more depth and interest.

Inside I used the Enjoy the Little Things stamp set to stamp the sentiment and create a little border along the bottom.
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black, Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive (markers and inkpads), Tip Top Taupe
Stamps: Rose Wonder, Enjoy the Little Things, Pedal Pusher (sentiment on front - retired)
Dies: Lots of Labels, Rose Garden Thinlits
Other: Gold thread, Ribbon, Stylish Stripes EF, Word Window punch

Cute little birthday dog

It was my daughter's birthday on the weekend and I came across this card which I couldn't resist.

She had said quite a while ago when I made a shaker card for someone that she'd like a one for her birthday.  So with a few adaptations I've made my version a shaker card.

I have used the Playful Pals pyramid dies for my dog which worked very well.  If you'd like to know how I made him please leave me a comment below.

The balloons were too small to use punched Stampin' Up! pieces as the shakers so I have used tiny beads instead.  I was really pleased to get a close match to Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron.

Here is the inside which I have decorated with the Party Wishes stamp set

Her favourite colour is Bermuda Bay so I have made the dog's bowtie and stamped the balloons inside with this colour.   Do you have a favourite Stampin' Up! colour?
Cardstock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black
Paper: It's My Party DSP,
Stamps: Balloon Builders (sentiment outside), Party Wishes
Ink: Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake
Punches & Dies: Playful Pals Pyramid dies, Poinsettia, Owl, Word Window, 3/8th circle, Balloon bouquet, Lots of Labels
Other: Tip Top Taupe Stampin' Write Marker, White Gel Pen, Dimensionals, Chipboard, Beads
