Chocolate

I seem to be a bit out of order with my posts with so many things to be posting about lately.  But here is a quick project I whipped up for Hubby on Valentines Day.

We are trying to be good lately (hmmm camp put paid to that last week for me) and not eat too many bad things, so for Valentines Day I bought Hubby a couple of bars of Sugar Free Chocolate.  I made a sleeve and a simple belly band.  It can be hard to make Valentines projects still feel masculine so this Stacked With Love paper stack is great as one side is all black and white - very useful for masculine cards.  Although I've used hearts here, the stack includes other patterns too such as stripes which makes it a very versatile stack!

Supplies
Cardstock/Paper: Stacked with Love DSP, Silver Glimmer Paper, Whisper White
Stamp: Pictogram punches
Ink: Real Red
Other: Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details

Stamp Camp Swaps

Once a year our fabulous team leader Jacque Williams organises a team stamp camp for our Creative Inkers Team.  Some of us chose to do 'swaps' where we make, in this case 24, of the same thing and swap them with each other.

Here's my swap:

We are lucky to have two plum trees in our garden and they produce a lot of plums.  So I decided to use some of those plums and make plum jam for my swaps.

Here are the awesome swaps I received in return:

Haven't the team done a great job?  And some of my favourites up close (a few?... it was hard to choose and I've ended up with 7):

Also thank you to Julia Leece for her lovely 'pillow gift' which she left on everyone's pillow - made using our new treat bag die and with a couple of chocolates inside:

We all had a fabulous time at camp and look forward to the next team event.  My Girls had fun spending the weekend being spoilt at their Grandparents house and Hubby enjoyed a weekend to himself in a very quiet house with only his 'furry' girl at home to look after:

She looks happy doesn't she?  She was camera shy
If you'd like to join us at camp next time, and I assure you we all had a fantastic time, you can join my team and be part of the fun.  Sale-a-bration is a perfect time to join as you get extra goodies.  Contact me to learn more and remember Sale-a-bration is on until the end of March. For every $110NZD you spend you receive free product.

Extravaganza Time

Creative Inkers Team
Auckland Extravaganza

Yes its that time again.  Book your calendars for the 28th March.

If you haven't been to an Extravaganza before, its a half day event put on by the Creative Inkers Team.  The event kicks off at 12.30pm but the doors open at 12 and there will be displays and samples to inspire you. You're welcome to bring along your camera and take photos.

As each project is completed the demonstrators will rotate so you make 5 gorgeous projects to take home.   In between projects there are spot prizes and a light afternoon tea is provided. There will be a separate prize draw too for anyone who places an order on the day.

Anyone who has been to Extravaganza before will tell you its well worth going and they book their spots for the next one as soon as they can.  To give you an idea of the kinds of fantastic projects you will make see the montage below of past projects that have been made.

The cost for this event is $35 and all the materials you will need will be provided for you. However you will be required to supply your own adhesives.  If you'd like to purchase adhesives from me I am offering a special bundle for Extravaganza:

Please contact me to book your spot.  Its a very popular event and we do have limited seats.
